Dr. Gupta is the Chief LASIK Surgeon at Eye Care Northwest, specializing in medical and surgical management of corneal diseases, and is an expert in refractive surgery.

A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Gupta graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and Psychology from Rutgers University. She then earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

After completing her internship at University of Maryland she completed residency training in ophthalmology as Chief Resident at Tulane University Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Gupta specializes in refractive surgery, including the following:

She is an active member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) as well as several other professional associations. Dr. Gupta has an appreciation for research, is an accomplished presenter and has published several papers.

Dr. Gupta enjoys playing tennis, traveling, taking cooking classes, and spending time with family/friends.
