He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. DeLuca completed his residency and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, further enhancing his skills in sports medicine during training at Yale University Hospital in New Haven. He holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. DeLuca served as the former head team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1997 through 2018, and he was the head team orthopedist for the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team. His affiliations include Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Jersey City Medical Center.
