For more than 15 years at New Jersey Spine Center, Dr. Matthew I. Lipp has been providing individualized patient-centric care to individuals that suffer from work related, degenerative, or sports injuries. Dr. Lipp specializes in sports & orthopedic rehabilitation and interventional pain procedures for neck and back disorders. Dr. Lipp is fellowship trained in minimally invasive pain management techniques including epidural steroid injections, facet injections, nerve ablations and placement of spinal cord stimulators. Dr. Lipp also performs electro-diagnostic studies, EMG, to help assist in diagnosing complex cases.

Since 2009, he has been recognized annually by NJ Monthly magazine as a “Top Doctor.”

Dr. Lipp is a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has received his sub-specialty certification in Pain Management.

Originally from Long Island, NY, Dr. Lipp received his undergraduate degree at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. He completed his medical education at New York Medical College, interning in General Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, in New Hyde Park, NY. He completed a three-year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Lipp went on to complete a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Orthopedic-Sports Rehabilitation at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY.
