Dr. Dean Cerio is a co-founder, along with Dr. Cyrus Loghmanee, of East Coast Advanced Plastic Surgery (ECAPS), in the New York and New Jersey area. Dr. Cerio specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the entire body, with special expertise in breast cancer reconstruction. At ECAPS, Dr. Cerio provides all of his cosmetic patients and breast cancer survivors with a sense of wholeness and a new outlook on life.

Sharing his knowledge of the topic is important to him, having published 3 major textbook chapters, and 4 medical journal articles to date. Dean Cerio, M.D. has also presented his work at 11 local, regional, and national plastic surgery society meetings.

Dean Cerio, M.D. studied medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine before completing his medical school training at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. After that, he pursued a General Surgery residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and his Plastic Surgery fellowship and Microsurgical Breast Reconstruction subspecialty fellowship, were both at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, alongside world-renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Luis Vasconez. Dr. Cerio is an expert in all areas of plastic surgery and is always available for a one-on-one consultation.
