Dr. Medford attended Cornell University and then went on to complete his medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).  He performed his Internship at University Hospital and his Ophthalmology Residency at United Eye Hospital, both part of the UMDNJ system.
Dr. Medford is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specialized in the treatment and diagnosis of cataracts, glaucoma, and many other diseases of the eye. Dr. Medford performs surgery when necessary for these conditions, including:

• Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), an office laser procedure used to control glaucoma;
• The latest intraocular lens technology in his cataract surgeries, such as Toric IQ® lenses for astigmatism
• The multifocal lenses ReStor® and Technis Multifocal®, which offer patients distance and near vision after cataract surgery
